Looking for something a little different then look no further.
Hand crafted out of rough sawn planks, arranged in a vertical configuration rather than the usual horizontal design this chest is truly beautiful! The planks are jointed and beveled to add extra detail.
The roughness of the planks comes from the milling process where a big old band saw is used to cut the trunk down to usable planks. The result is every chest produced is slightly different with it’s own character.
This versatile piece of furniture has a number of uses… such as blanket box, coffee table, toy box, etc.
Each chest is hand finished with 2 coats of quality bees wax which really brings out the character and gives a lovely smooth feel with a subtle shine. For other colours please see our other items or contact us.
